APOGEO is the acronym of the project “Precision Agriculture for the Improvement of Wine Production in the Macaronesia”. The project aims to  develop drones with low-cost spectral cameras, in order to quickly monitor the vineyards and, at a very early stage, detect problems that may affect the plants and the future production of grapes. These problems may range from phytopathogenic infections to nutritional deficiencies. In addition, early treatments will be tested, and new,  more environmentally- friendly phytosanitary products  will be developed.
